SHAI for Tattoo parlors

Enquiries arrive by DM at midnight and go cold by morning.

How this business runs

Enquiries arrive by DM at midnight, with a reference image and a vague budget, and go cold by morning. Deposits are what separate a booked calendar from a diary full of maybes.

The recommended team

7 agents from the roster, in the order this trade needs them.

The tasks that will run

Answer the overnight DMs

every day except Sunday at 9am

Enquiries arrive at midnight and go cold by morning.

/social-engagement · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard

Chase the consults with no deposit

every weekday at 7am

A consult without a deposit is a conversation, not a booking.

/ghl-pipeline · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard

Post this week's pieces

every Monday at 8am

The portfolio is the business and it lives in the feed.

/organic-content-creator · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard

Report what brought the enquiries

on the 1st of each month at 8am

Artists guess which piece brought the calls; the numbers usually disagree.

/organic-metrics · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard

Every one of these arrives as a proposal you approve or decline. Nothing is scheduled by signing up.

The tools to connect

Meta Graph API (Instagram professional accounts + Facebook Pages)

Meta is where the audience is and where the ads run; without it nothing posts or reports.

Go High Level (GHL)

GoHighLevel is where the leads, the pipeline, the calendar and the conversations live. Almost every task below reads or writes it.

Google Calendar

Google Calendar is what SHAI writes to when the booking does not live in the CRM.

Each one is your own account, connected once. Every tool carries its price and the exact steps.

The first week

Let SHAI pull every DM enquiry from the last 30 days that never got a second reply.
Turn on the overnight-DM task and read a week of drafts before it sends.
Give it this month's finished pieces and let it build the posting week.

What to read on a Monday

DM response time — The gap between a midnight enquiry and a morning answer is where most bookings die.
Consult-to-deposit rate — A consult without a deposit is a conversation.
Artist utilisation — Chair hours sold against chair hours available, per artist.
Repeat-client share — Most tattoo revenue is the second, third and fourth piece.

What SHAI will not do in this trade

Anything that texts or calls a customer runs on a registered A2P 10DLC brand and campaign with the consent record on file. /ghl-a2p sets that up; SHAI will not send a customer message before it exists.
TCPA: no call or text to anyone who has not opted in, nothing outside 8am-9pm in the recipient's own time zone, and an opt-out honoured on the first message it arrives in.
Every message SHAI sends to someone who is not the owner says it is an AI assistant acting for the business (master prompt 4.7). It is never presented as a person.
SHAI never writes a review, never offers anything in exchange for one, and never posts as a customer. It drafts replies to reviews that already exist, for the owner to send.
Client photographs are the client's likeness and often their body - permission first, always, recorded in rights.md.
Health-department rules on what a studio may advertise about sterilisation, healing and aftercare vary by state; SHAI never states an aftercare or healing claim you have not given it.

Every line in this file is a recommendation written from an operator's knowledge of how this trade actually runs, never a promise about a result. Cadences are starting points; the owner changes them. Compliance notes are a reminder to check, not legal advice. Written 2026-09-15.

A playbook is a head start, not a requirement: SHAI works for any business, and a trade that is not on this list gets the same agents and a general plan built the same way.
