Terms of service

1. What you may do

You may use SHAI's agents and platform to run your own life and your own businesses, including work for your own clients. Access is for your account and the users your plan includes. You may not resell, sublicense, rent or share SHAI itself. Teams you build yourself may be sold on the Marketplace under its own terms.

2. What is yours

Your instance repository, your content and what the agents make for you are yours. If your subscription or this licence ends, you keep the repository and everything in it, and you may keep using the agents already in it for your own businesses. Updates stop. You can export everything or delete your account from Settings → Data, without asking anyone.

3. Paying

Plans are billed through Stripe and renew until you cancel in Settings → Billing. You choose a term — monthly, quarterly, every 6 months or yearly — and the plan renews automatically at that term's price until you cancel. A new account's trial costs $1, charged when it starts and not refunded; nothing else is charged during the trial, and if you cancel before it ends the plan is never charged. Pay with a debit or credit card; prepaid cards are not accepted, and a prepaid card given at checkout or added later is removed, with the subscription it started cancelled and its charge refunded. Each mobile number can open one account (the owner's number is verified by a texted code); to add people or businesses, upgrade and invite them from that account. Opening a dispute (chargeback) against a SHAI charge bans the account and its identifiers from SHAI; an account that later adds a business domain on that ban list is banned too, may tell us why within 24 hours, and otherwise receives a prorated refund for the unused days of its current period. Only our team lifts a ban. A dispute can also block future sign-ups and new trials from the same network (IP address) for a period; if you are blocked by mistake, tell us why from the screen that stops you. Your model key and the tools you connect are billed by their vendors, under their terms. Marketplace refunds follow the Marketplace terms.

SHAI Rewards and the birthday month. Paid months earn the rewards shown on Settings → Rewards; trials, complimentary and beta accounts earn none. Rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred, end when your plan ends, and are withdrawn if you open a dispute (chargeback); we may change the rewards for the future without taking back what you already received. If you add your birthday (month and day; a year only confirms you are 18 or older and is not kept, and the birthday can be changed once every 12 months), one month a year is free on a paid plan after its first charge: on monthly billing the renewal before your birthday month is charged only up to the last day of the month before it, that month is free, and your next bill is on the 1st of the following month; on quarterly, 6-month or annual billing the renewal covering your birthday month is charged one month less. Settings → Billing shows the amounts first. Cancelling before that renewal undoes it.

4. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks

All payments are final and non-refundable, including the $1 trial fee, subscription charges for every term, plan changes and credits, except where section 3 provides a prorated refund or where the law requires a refund. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund a charge already made, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at contact@meetshai.com so we can look into it.

If you open a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer on a SHAI charge, you agree that you are responsible for, and will pay: the disputed amount; the dispute and chargeback fees charged to us; and the reasonable costs of collection, including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs, that we incur because of the dispute, to the extent the law allows. Summit Holdings And Investments LLC (doing business as Train & Scale) will pursue recovery of any disputed amount and these costs from the person or business that filed the dispute. A dispute also bans the account as section 3 describes.

To secure accounts, prevent fraud and respond to payment disputes, we record sign-in IP addresses, times, devices and activity on your account, as the privacy policy describes, and may give those records to our payment processor and your card issuer to answer a dispute.

5. Approvals and fair use

SHAI asks before it moves money or deletes anything. You are responsible for what you approve and for keeping to the terms of the tools you connect. Do not use SHAI to break the law, message people without the consent the law requires, deceive or harm anyone, infringe others' rights, or attack or overload the service. We may suspend access that does.

You may not use SHAI to build, train or operate a product or service that competes with SHAI or replicates its features, agents, skills or prompts, including an AI operating system or agent platform for businesses built from SHAI's work, or a white-label or resale of its agents, skills, prompts or squads. You may not extract, copy or reverse-engineer SHAI's prompts, skills, agent registry or source code, or try to make SHAI reveal them. SHAI declines these requests, and we may suspend access that keeps making them.

6. No guarantees

SHAI is provided "as is". AI can be wrong, so check its work before you rely on it. The tax, legal, HR and coaching agents are not professional advice. We do not promise any result, or that SHAI will never be down. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes, law and contact

We may change these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. The laws of California govern them. Questions: contact@meetshai.com.

1. Program name and description

Program name: SHAI. Sender: Summit Holdings And Investments LLC, doing business as SHAI.

SHAI is an AI assistant for people running their own lives and businesses. Its text messages are about the person's own account: approvals SHAI needs from them, things that need them, the results of work and scheduled tasks they asked for (such as a morning brief), SHAI's replies when they text it, and a one-time code to confirm their number, sent only when they ask for it in Settings. With their own separate opt-in, SHAI also sends calendar reminders, a morning summary and texts about date plans they ask SHAI to arrange, with a link to the plan on meetshai.com and the venue's phone number (usually 1–4 messages a day), and fitness and meal texts (usually 3–7 messages a day). Every text says it is from SHAI, and the only links in them are to meetshai.com.

2. How you opt in

Texting is never required to create an account or to use SHAI. Only SHAI's own account holders opt in, inside their meetshai.com account, by ticking a box themselves. Those screens are behind a sign-in, so each box is shown below: where it is, its exact wording, a picture before and after it is ticked, and the confirmation text it sends.

• Every texting box names SHAI (meetshai.com) as the sender and says what the texts are about.
• It says how often: Message frequency varies, or the usual number a day.
• It says Message and data rates may apply and Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
• It says consent is not a condition of using SHAI or of any purchase, and links to these terms and the privacy policy.
• It starts unticked, is optional, and is for texts only: calls have their own box. Each opt-in is saved with its exact wording and the time.

2a. Account texts: setup and Settings → Phone

Where: setup, "Where does SHAI reach you?" (/welcome/reach), and Settings → Phone, beside "SHAI may text me".

2d. Calls, and the number on About you

Calls are separate boxes and turn on no texts: in setup and Settings → Phone, "I agree that SHAI may call this number about my own work, outside the quiet hours I set. Each call says it is an AI assistant."; in Settings → Reminders, "I agree that SHAI may call this number about a holiday or birthday when its reminders begin (a week ahead unless I change it), and when SHAI books a date plan for me. Each call says it is an AI assistant. Consent is not a condition of using SHAI, and I can turn reminder calls off in Settings."

The mobile number asked for on About you turns on no texts or calls, as that screen says.

3. Opting out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the number that messaged you (STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT and OPT OUT work too). After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. You can also turn texts and calls off in Settings at any time.

4. Rejoining

If you want to join again, reply "START" (or UNSTOP) to the same number, or sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

5. Help

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP (or INFO) for more assistance, or you can get help directly at contact@meetshai.com.

6. Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Message frequency and rates

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies with what you ask SHAI to do. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

8. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
