What is SHAI, in one sentence?
A team of specialist AI agents for your business and your life, and one concierge in front of them that you talk to by chat, phone or text.
How is that different from an AI employee?
An AI employee is one generalist that learns by watching. SHAI is a roster of written specialists — an ads agent, a CRM agent, a video editor, a tax strategist — each with its own instructions you can read and change. You are hiring a team, not training a hire.
Who pays for the AI tokens?
You do, directly to the model vendor, using your own key. SHAI meters every run and shows you the estimate before and the cost after. There is no markup, because the bill is not ours to mark up.
Do I need to be technical?
No. The setup wizard lists every tool with its price, why it matters and the exact steps. Where a step has no API, SHAI gives you a click-by-click checklist and tells you what you should see at each step.
What does SHAI connect to?
The tools catalogue ships with 33 written-up integrations — GoHighLevel, Meta and Google ads, Google Calendar and Search Console, GitHub, Vercel, Twilio and more — each with its price and its steps. One-click OAuth at catalogue scale is a later wave and is not claimed today.
Can SHAI actually call and text me?
Yes — that service is built and runs on your own Twilio number, with consent recorded, quiet hours honoured and an approval ladder that escalates only when a decision cannot wait. The owner's own number is not connected yet, so this is proven against recorded fixtures rather than live traffic.
Will it do something I did not approve?
No. Spending, sending to someone new, publishing and deleting all stop and ask. A run that would cross your daily ceiling pauses for an approval rather than running and apologising.
Does it use bots to get around platform rules?
Never. Official APIs and published rate limits only, consent before contact where the law requires it, and an AI disclosure to anyone who is not you. Where a platform has no API, SHAI stops and hands you the steps instead of driving a browser at someone else's site.
Who owns the work?
You do. Everything SHAI produces is committed into a private repository in your own GitHub account — the sites, the scripts, the edit projects, the profiles. Cancelling does not take it away.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, from your settings page, as JSON, whenever you want. Deleting your account removes your rows and tells you exactly what is left to do by hand — it does not pretend the job is finished when it is not.
Where are my credentials kept?
Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and injected at execution time. The model never sees a key: it is handed results, and the subprocess that runs a skill has the environment stripped of everything it should not carry.
Is one client's data visible to another?
No. Every business is its own workspace, and the database client itself writes the tenancy predicate — there is no code path where a request names its own tenant. The tenancy tests prove it across tenants and across businesses.
Is SHAI SOC 2 certified?
No. The controls are being built and a readiness checklist is scheduled, but no audit has been done and no certificate exists. When one does, this answer will change and the security page will carry the report.
What if an agent cannot do something?
It says so, names the unit it could not finish, shows its best attempt, and gives you the manual fallback with the exact path to drop the missing piece and the command that resumes it. It never quietly degrades.
Can I use it from the terminal?
Yes. Every agent is a Claude Code skill, so the same roster runs on your own machine against your own Claude account, and the platform reflects the work you did there.
I run an agency. Can my clients see their own work?
That is what the client-approver seat is for: their business's approvals, files and reports, and nothing from any other client. The per-business scoping is the same mechanism that keeps two of your own businesses apart.
Does SHAI do my personal life too?
Yes, and that is deliberate. Fitness and food, sleep, reading, date nights, travel, buying a car — the same interview, the same calendar, one place.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing today. No card is taken, because subscriptions are not switched on yet. You connect your own model key and run.
How long until it is doing real work?
The interview is three minutes and the first run happens on the same visit. How much it does in week one depends on how many of your tools you connect.
What is not built yet?
Scheduled tasks, one-click OAuth at catalogue scale, file deliverables, published pages, Slack and Teams, billing and the trust report are all scheduled and none of them are claimed as done. The changelog says what landed and when.
