SHAI for E-commerce businesses

Abandoned carts and unanswered reviews cost more than the ad budget that brought the traffic.

How this business runs

Most of the revenue that leaks does not leak at checkout - it leaks in the cart that got abandoned and the review that never got answered, both of which cost nothing to fix and nobody has the hours to fix daily. The ad account is watched closely because the spend is visible; the abandoned-cart list is not, so it is watched rarely.

The tasks that will run

Chase the carts abandoned in the last 24 hours

every day at 10am

A cart abandoned yesterday is the cheapest recoverable revenue in the store.

/ghl-automations · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard

Answer new reviews and product questions

every weekday at 10am

An unanswered question under a product is a sale paused mid-decision.

/social-engagement · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard

Post this week's product and offer content

every Monday at 8am

Organic content is what keeps returning customers coming back between sales.

/organic-content-creator · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard

Report cost per acquisition by channel

every Monday at 8am

Blended ROAS hides which channel is actually working and which is being carried.

/ads-metrics · runs the agent · delivered to dashboard

Look at inventory-driven cash flow for next month

on the 1st of each month at 9am

E-commerce cash gets tied up in stock before it comes back as revenue, and the gap is easy to misjudge.

Every one of these arrives as a proposal you approve or decline. Nothing is scheduled by signing up.

The tools to connect

Meta Graph API (Instagram professional accounts + Facebook Pages)

Meta is where the audience is and where the ads and retargeting run; without it nothing posts or reports.

Google Ads API (paid ads)

Google Ads and Shopping are where demand that is already searching gets bought.

Resend (transactional email)

Resend is how the cart-recovery and post-purchase messages actually reach an inbox.

Each one is your own account, connected once. Every tool carries its price and the exact steps.

The first week

  1. Connect the store and let SHAI list every cart abandoned in the last 7 days.
  2. Turn on the cart-recovery task and read the first batch of drafts before they send.
  3. Ask for cost per acquisition by channel - it is usually the first time it is seen split out rather than blended.

What to read on a Monday

  • Cart abandonment recovery rateThe single cheapest revenue in the business, and the one most stores never systematically chase.
  • Return-customer rateAcquiring a customer costs the most on their first order and the least on their second.
  • Cost per acquisition by channelSpend without this number is a guess with a credit card attached.
  • Review volume and response rateReviews decide the close on a product page more than the description does.

What SHAI will not do in this trade

  • Anything that texts a customer runs on a registered A2P 10DLC brand and campaign with the consent record on file. /ghl-a2p sets that up; SHAI will not send a customer text before it exists.
  • TCPA and CAN-SPAM: no text or marketing email to anyone who has not opted in, an unsubscribe link on every email, and an opt-out honoured on the first message it arrives in.
  • Every message SHAI sends to someone who is not the owner says it is an AI assistant acting for the business (master prompt 4.7). It is never presented as a person.
  • SHAI never writes a review, never offers anything in exchange for one, and never posts as a customer. It drafts replies to reviews that already exist, for the owner to send.
  • FTC endorsement and material-connection rules apply to any influencer or affiliate content; disclosures stay on the draft, never quietly dropped.
  • Product claims, ingredient claims and pricing in ads and posts are the store's own, as given - SHAI never invents a specification, a stock level or a guarantee.

Every line in this file is a recommendation written from an operator's knowledge of how this trade actually runs, never a promise about a result. Cadences are starting points; the owner changes them. Compliance notes are a reminder to check, not legal advice. Written 2026-09-21.

A playbook is a head start, not a requirement: SHAI works for any business, and a trade that is not on this list gets the same agents and a general plan built the same way.
